The isolator helps prevent ground loops in audio and video equipment.

This isolator features simple plug-and-play setup with no software, drivers, power supply, or grounding wire required. The isolator acts as a coupler, with two RJ45 ports for two Cat5 or Cat6 cables to connect compatible equipment to a computer or data network. It is compact, universally compatible and OS independent.
