Add a unique combination of serial, USB and Ethernet ports to your laptop or PCThis USB Type-C Hub with RS-232 Serial, Gigabit Ethernet, and 100W USB-C Power Delivery Pass-Through adds two USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5Gbps) Type-A ports to a USB enabled computer. The attached 2ft (60cm) USB-C host cable includes a tethered USB-C to USB-A adapter that enables the USB Hub to easily connect to both USB-A and USB-C host computers.
RS-232 Serial
The USB Hub adds an RS-232 serial DB/DE-9M (male) connector to a desktop or laptop. The USB to RS-232 adapter features COM retention, which automatically reassigns the COM port value if the cable is disconnected and reconnected, or if the system is rebooted.
Gigabit Ethernet
The USB hub features a Gigabit Ethernet Network Interface Controller (NIC). The Ethernet adapter is compatible with the IEEE 802.3u/ab standards and supports Wake-on-LAN (WoL), Jumbo Frames, and V-LAN Tagging. The network adapter enhances laptop network reliability, security, and performance, by utilizing wired 10/100/1000Mbps Ethernet.
USB Power Delivery Pass-Through
This USB hub features 100W USB Power Delivery 3.0 pass-through (85W laptop charging). Connect a power source to the USB-C PD pass-through port to power the connected host device. PD 3.0 features Fast Role Swap (FRS) to prevent USB data disruption when switching power sources (USB-C power adapter to bus power).
The USB hub features Overcurrent Protection (OCP) for added protection to the USB hub and any connected devices. OCP prevents faulty USB peripherals from drawing more power than is safely allocated.
Plug and Play
This device is compatible with most major operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Linux. The Hub is automatically detected, configured, and installed upon connection to a host computer.
